How reviews help writers… I didn’t know Amazon worked this way…

I didn’t know Amazon worked  this way… I sure could use the reviews. I know there’s enough people who bought it. Review review people!

  1. I do have a Book Reader’s and Reviewer’s blog after all. I also grew up in a house where the women read a lot. MOm’s famly were and still are avid readers. Why Grandma was nearly blind and reading large type books into her 90’s! I believe her health went down fast after she couldn’t read anymore.
About Amazon.. I suppose you have to BUY the book to review it? Well I can’t do that right now, but I have my Blog at least! And a good reviewer doesn’t give away the ending!

    1. hmmm actually you don’t… I’d be willing to send you the newly edited version as soon as I’m done for a chance at a review 🙂 Don’t forget there’s also good reads.

I’ll be officially launching Nwa Pante Rising later this month. Those who review are going to be entered into a special drawing for signed book cover art and other prizes.

      1. it looks like you don’t have to buy the book from amazon.. which is kind of good and kind of scary. Someone could leave a horrible review after not even reading it.

There is a kindle app that will let you read it on a PC, you don’t have to have a kindle.

  2. Reblogged this on Just Can't Help Writing and commented:
Apropos of this information (which I guessed but didn’t *know*), if you are interested in reviewing one of my books, let me know and I’ll send along a coupon for a free copy at Smashwords! (I think Amazon prefers “verified purchasers,” but I’d love a Goodreads review as well.)

    1. I had not seen the person’s comment about it not being true. I’m glad about that but I still want a review or two.

🙂 The principal is still the same: review and feed an author. Readers just don’t know how important they are and they don’t realize the effect they have.

Even bad reviews can be good. We learn from them and honestly to get a bad review can mean that others outside of friends and family have read your book.

For better or worse your audience IS growing!
