I am so pissed right now. No death certificate, the cremation wasn’t complete. I am horrified and sick to my stomach. No police report…
This is f**king awful, I can’t sprinkle ashes anywhere! The consulate better call me, I’m about to cause an international incident. Jesus Lord… God help me… I can’t handle this!

Kawanee was born in Alexandria Louisiana but her first real memories are of Russellville Arkansas. She's always loved to read, and has always had an vivid imagination. She grew up in a house where almost everyone read, they didn't need a TV although she could still be found planted on her butt in front of her grandma's TV watching cartoons on Saturday mornings.
She made up her first story with her mother when her cat died; it was about where pets go when they die. She continued to create stories from bad dreams she had and her dad would help her change nightmares to stories. They would sit up in a chair until the scary went away. He told her that: "Dreams, good or bad, are just stories your mind makes up. You are the author of your dreams; if you don't like them rewrite them. "
She was hooked and has continued to read and write stories drawing from dreams, sights and just pure imagination. She just recently decided she'd like to try and get published and fail than wonder what if.
Her story continues but where it goes from here is up to you, the Reader... She hopes you'll join her in finding out where her journey goes from here!

Kawanee call your local news station, and the newspaper. Call CBS News, NBC, let them know what happened and how you are being treated, don’t hesitate to involve the American Consulate. Get it in the News as quick as you can.

I spoke with the consulate, it’s a cultural thing. The options they listed here are just unacceptable at this point. I’m going to just deal with this. however I can. Decide later when I’m more stable emotionally.

Kawanee, please don’t get mad at me but I just sent your story to CNN news international. If the AP picks it up you might get some help.

Nope…not mad at all. Thank you, I’m sort of not thinking right at the moment.

I agree with the ladies above. Get the press involved as soon as possible. Be the “squeaky wheel.” mate.

I got 2 phone calls tonight in response to my demand for answers. Nothing good… but at least they called. Hard decisions to make… I am not going to make them at the moment.

I agree with everyone above also. The press really can work miracles at times!

Oh, Kawanee, this is terrible. I agree with the other comments. Get the news out to the American Embassy, newspapers, mags, Facebook, Twitter, etc. , and write your Senator and representative. Get it out to anyone and everyone and let’s hope it goes viral. You’ll be helping yourself and others. You’ve been going through hell and this is adding insult to injury. I’ll reblog this for you. I’ll keep you in my prayers. Suzanne

I agree with everyone above. This is a terrible time for you. I can’t begin to imagine what you are going through. To lose your husband is bad enough, but to have all this other stuff to cope with is beyond imagination. We’re all praying for you. Stay strong for your son, and also for your husband’s memory.

Is there a free consumer advice system where you are? We have The Citizens Advice Bureau that will gave basic advice to people struggling for whatever reason and who need advice negotiating the system. I do hope your local news outlets take up your case, but your local politician should be on it too. Hope you get some answers soon.

I have been here before and I was so flabbergasted that I couldn’t find any words for this horrible situation you are going through. As if losing your husband isn’t painful enough 😦 Granny and I know that you will find a way…you are a fighter! Great advices are already given, so we only can give our support in this right now. We wish you all the strenghts you need to get your answers. Healing Pawkisses and Purrayers to comfort you ❤ ❤ ❤

Ah no, I’m so sorry, Kawanee. I was so hoping that the process would go according to plan (albeit slow), in order to spare you any more unnecessary stress. I think it’s a good idea to get the media or a politician involved – sometimes those people are able to open doors that the rest of us can only bang our heads against. Still praying that you will have resolution soon.

Appalling! I’m so glad someone got on the move to the media, this will be your only savior to publicize these heinous wrongdoings! And sorry, I just can’t hit ‘like’ 😦
