Since I’ve had a rather bad time of it over the past year and more, I’ve decided I need to try and focus on happier things. Things that I am thankful for, and what better month to start than November right? I know I’m a little behind on this so I’m going to start with the first few days of the month to get caught up.
It’s been hard to be positive this year, hard to be thankful and see good in things. My worry is that I’ll only see the bad in everything because it seems that so little good happens.
I’m hoping that, after dealing with such overwhelming sadness and struggles, I’ll ward off getting mired in negativity. I need to get back to myself. I know it won’t be easy and I’ll slip or stagger maybe even fall down, but I know that I’m going to get back up.
So here goes:
November 1st: I’m thankful and happy that I have a roof over my head.
November 2nd: I’m thankful and happy for the support I’ve had from friends and family.
November 3rd: I’m thankful for my health even if there is room for improvement.
November 4th: I’m thankful that I have a job that I think I can believe in and support.
